I have been making business cards for yoroshiku (my one day media empire) and have finally got down to sexy colour combinations.
I would be most happy if you'd comment and give me your top 3 cards.

I would go with numbers 1, 4 and 6. On looking at the cards again number 3 is pretty cool too.
I just noticed the japanese war flag in the designs (kinda looks like the Naval design. It's much clearer in numbers 3 and 4). ;p
Are the cards general business cards or for a specific purpose such as design etc?

One and six are a popular choice but so are both the pink designs.
The original is the Yellow one.
The war flag as you noticed is also based on the RAF roundel; which is in turn a round version of the Union Jack. It is also clearly the Hinomaru.
During the second world war the RAF removed the red circle from RAF planes to avoid it looking like the Hinomaru that was on the Japanese planes.
Now we have stopped killing each other and like being friends it is a good representation of both flags blending together, and thus British and Japanese aesthetics and culture combined...British and Japanese relations... hence yoroshiku. The lions are European heraldry and in the extension of the aesthetic I hope to combine Japanese traditional line styles as well as the modern interpretation of both.
The cards are for an interactive design webshop. This was/is the purpose of yoroshiku.tv which I started concieving last year. The plan for this site is a Flash 2d/3d blended site sitting onto a CMS to create dynamic content.
Then with that in place I hope to then put in the streaming media. It then becomes an example of what I can do if anyone else would like some ;) Obviously this began before what is happening currently although I still aim to continue working on yoroshiku
